About
Welcome to Lost Wing, the music journal of Megumi and Tsuki whenever we feel like rambling about music. We mostly focus on jpop, but you’ll probably see us reviewing a bit of everything here and there. It’s also amusing to go through and review artists’ album-ography.
We’ve been around since June 19, 2005, reviewing everything we get our little hands on. We started on Livejournal then moved to WordPress.com in December 2007, then to a hosted WordPress blog on September 2008 (hosted by Megumi’s friend Cerri, who is about the awesomest person ever!)
“Lost Wing” comes from the Lyrico song of the same name.
All graphics are made by Megumi.
MEGUMI – THE LITTLE SISTER AND “BOSS LADY”
Also can’t type.

Artists of Choice: Vienna Teng, Angela Aki, Utada Hikaru, ayaka, Nakashima Mika, Rie fu, Onitsuka Chihiro, Amuro Namie, any Kajiura Yuki production (See-Saw, FictionJunction YUUKA, Kalafina, etc.)
TSUKI – THE OLDER SISTER AND SIDEKICK
More coherent (more like “verbose”) than the little sister XD

Artists of Choice: Sakamoto Maaya, Nakashima Mika, Tamaki Nami, CORE OF SOUL, Amuro Namie, FictionJunction
“hahaha, I like being the unknown. Or the sidekick that pops up randomly. … like a pimple o.o” – Tsuki
XDDD
A wise grasshopper (aka Tsuki) once told me:
While we’re all entitled to our own opinions, if you’re going to go out of your way to insult to prove your point, sit down and shut up. Nobody really cares.
I.e. Respect each other’s opinions! :) Music is mostly subjective anyways! There’s a difference between respectfully disagreeing and being a troll.
We generally have similar opinions, which is why we split up work and hardly ever review the same stuff. We also share one mind, until you get to know us. XD
We like to litter our reviews and comments with this face, ‘XD’. XD
THE STAMPS
Stamps are given in the review if the reviewer deems it to be worthy of the stamp =O. If the other reviewer wants to stamp the album, they will reply to the original post saying that they are stamping it! Only albums and mini-albums will receive stamps.

Stamp of Adoration: For the albums that we generally find to be perfect, or close to perfect despite having maybe one or two tracks that we may not enjoy. These are our favourite albums and are highly recommended (unless you have an entirely different taste in music XD).
.

Stamp of Death: For the albums that we generally find to be terrible (even if we may like one or two tracks). Our ears were bleeding while we were listening to the album, and we generally wanted to go shoot someone. Albums we highly suggest you avoid unless you’re a masochist (or, again, if you have an entirely different taste in music XD). This stamp is mainly for the lulz, and is rarely given out.
LINKAGE
Lulz, I was bored and made buttons. =OO Feel free to use them if you wish XD

We prefer that you have music reviews on your site if you wish to exchange links.
If you want link exchanges, try to post without the link in the comment (i.e. link your site in the info prior to the main comment box). A lot of link exchanges have been ending up in the spam folder.

Hey Meg and Tsuki, it’s Joshua from Ironic Clown. If you go onto Ironic Clown you’ll see I’ve moved blogs and I’m starting a non-Japanese based music review site (though I will still review Japanese music, but it’s not focused specifically on it). I said I wouldn’t be having a blogroll, but I’m adding you because I believe you’re both one of the most versatile music reviewers out there. Feel free to add me to your blogroll if you wish, though there’s no obligation. XD
It’s so awesome to see that there are still great some track-by-track review blogs out there <3
Wanna exchnage linksss? Pweeease :3 (My blog is close to empty though cuz I just cleaned it out :L)
Ah, i always bug you guys to add me on the blogroll. This’ll be like the third time (drops on the ocean / Bokura no Rekishi).
:X Oh well, I still like reading your reviews, they entertain me.
Nice new heading! I also love the idea that you put signatures on your posts! Nice to see you’re back! :D
Oh hai. I kind of killed my last blog :/ You mind adding me again?
EEK, YES, OF COURSE, I’ll add you… Uh… In a little while. I promise. :3
Hey~ I’d love to exchange links! ^^
(I also use XD alot, only I refrain from doing so in my reviews most of the time XD)
Would you like to exchange links?
My blog wasn’t linked in my previous comment! Sorry about that.
